Well, it would be very helpful. I'm probably going to end up checking back on posts anyway, but an overall summary wouldn't hurt, I think. It'd probably make things faster.

For me.

Well, on my end, it's been pretty much this:

- Wayfarers arrive
- First contact
- Balthazar, one of their two remaining leaders (the Third has vanished mysteriously, see the first/second page), goes off to look for something the Wayfarers are seeking. The Exarch (the other leader, who outranks Balthazar) remains behind.
- In the meantime, a strange ship has begun tearing through Spartusi space
- Balthazar arrives at Terangia, a largely lawless Old West kind of place
- Hijinks ensue.
- He meets and comes under the protection of Yul, the Yanissan, a Lawman around the parts of Terangia. Also, he's a badass.
- In the meantime, some Spartusi (Golani and Arkenor) come across an extragalatic biological horror (rather akin to the Flood). Together with a seemingly lost Wayfarer, Lazarus, they manage to escape before the Spartusi Navy glasses the place.
- They end up at Terangia, where they befriend Yul. Lazarus goes off to talk to Balthazar, whilst Yul and the Spartusi ponder a way to get the Wayfarers and Spartusi off the planet without the Ravens, a local gang getting them. The Wayfarers have a bounty on their head. Various unscrupulous corporations/factions want to study them (by capturing and dissecting them.)
- Balthazar et. al defeated Tiesar, the leader of the Ravens, and Yul tricked the Ravens into going into another part of the planet. Tiesar will be a recurring character, sort of like Boba Fett
- A new Spartusi stealth vessel and the Leviathan are playing The Hunt for Red October/The Wrath of Khan in the Mutara Nebula... er... regular nebula.
- Balthazar learns of the strange vessel attacking the Spartusi. He convinces the Exarch to allow him to travel to Tarsus where he can inform the other species of the danger and perhaps rally them in a common defense.
- Balthazar, Yul, Golani, Arkenor, and Jo (Anomaly's character, a Teuthid, who has just been introduced) leave the planet on a freighter vessel.
- An attempt by Balthazar's pushy AI, Athena, to pick up some speed by slingshot maneuvers around Terangia's binary stars screwed up the sensors/instruments on the ship to the point that they go in the wrong direction, and end up in Themystis, which is also pirate space.
- Predictably, the pirates attack and try to board the freighter. They're slowly beginning to overwhelm the crew, but a combination of a Taulron vessel (commanded by one of SVMK's characters) and some savvy tactical maneuvering by Jo and Yul force the pirates to retreat.

And that's where we are now.

That's on my end, mind you. The others have been up to other things. Ivan and jay jay have mostly been involved with my storyline. Aeolus, to a degree. As well as SVMK. You should probably read through the thread to get a better grasp on it all, but I hope that this little summary proves helpful.

Okee-dokee, I guess I was supposed to pass on the news. Sort of figured someone else would.

SMVK is away for 2 weeks. He's got a phone/ipod/mobile device and can keep an eye on things, but typing is understandably a unnice person.

Further bulletins as events warrant.

I like how SVMK sees fit to not PM the one person who is interacting with him in an RP at the moment.

Well, the summary proved helpful for having things to look for, I suppose. I just need to read through the thread, then. It'll happen, I swear.

It seems as though you've got plenty of time, since I suppose there'll have to be essentially a two-week hiatus, on the main storyline at least.

Hiatus? What hiatus? I'm railroading SVMK as soon as possible. Serves him right for not telling me beforehand that he'd be off for however long.

I understand it was a surprise, to be fair.

I understand that real life intrudes. It has for me in the past few days. At some point, it does for all of us. But even the busiest schedule can fit in five minutes for a quick PM.

The reason I'm harping on it is so that we don't get this sort of bottleneck in the future. By all means, if you know beforehand that real life is about to intrude, or if it does so unexpectedly, contact all the parties involved. Contacting one person (who may or may not be experiencing an intrusion as well) only leads to this sort of trouble.

I've been saying everywhere that i'm moving. I will have internet at the other house today or tomorrow, definitely before Friday, and then I will be pretty much available.

Just a note to all of you. Right now, every species should be sending a representative to Tarsus. Galactic crisis and all that jazz.

I am completely burrowed in! W00T!

Activity will be back up from me. As for the representative, I would prefer to remain an isolationist, but I will send a small fleet for diplomacy.

Ivan, I sent you a PM a few weeks ago about our little Hunt for Red October skirmish in the Mutara Nebula... er... regular nebula. We sorta need to wrap that up. Will you PM me regarding your thoughts?

In any case, I sorta have a plan. I will need to assemble an A-Team of sorts of different species (all species really) to accompany Balthazar on his grand adventure.

Who's interested?

I know jay jay and Ivan (and obviously myself) are already in. I would like everyone to join. So yeah.

How about... The Vicer, with the 13 Supremes and Lix, a commando, get together a rag-tag "Supreme Protection Fleet" and to gain further support to restore them to power, they begin interacting with known, neutral or allied governments in the galactic community, and enlist their rag-tag fleet's help.

That way I can expand the survival of them, the resistance to Aht, and so on. Also, get involved with other people in the RP, and have further interaction when war is declared on Aht's Lacsizta by numerous galactic members.
